while installing visual basic 6 i am getting this error msg again and again "Set up was unable to create a DCOM user account in order to register `C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\Tools\VS-Ent98\Vanalyzr\va... " after this msg its showing unable to install pls reinstall again. even after repeated attempts i am unable to install this software please help me the way out to install it and remove the bug.

Visual Studio 6 is ancient and it isn't clear to me why you wouldn't want to use VS7 or VS8.
That said, the error makes me think you either
1. Have insufficient rights on the computer you're installing it on.
2. The computer is messed up.
To distinguish the two possibilities, find another computer where someone has admin rights and install VS6 there.
Another thought comes to mind: If you're running Vista you're probably out of luck. I doubt VS6 is Vista compatible.
